About Dr. Choan
Dr. Caroline Garcia Choan received her M.D. from New York Medical College, then completed her internship in internal medicine at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. Her neurology residency was completed at LA County Harbor-UCLA Hospital in Torrance.
Dr. Choan remained at Harbor-UCLA for her fellowship in neurophysiology, which included pediatric and adult electroencephalography, electromyography, and brainstem auditory, visual, and somatosensory evoked potential interpretation. She completed a Fellowship in Nerve and Muscle diseases and is Board Certified by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, which allows her to perform highly complex Nerve and Muscle electrical testing.
Dr. Choan is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and the National Board of Medical Examiners. She is also a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Headache Society.
